Hey there!
So far, I have been a nomad, musician, founder, burner, executive, maker, PhD runaway, and everything in between.
I am at my best and most curious when I’m outdoors, on the road, and right over the edge of my comfort zone. I am fascinated by immediacy, impermanence, intentionality, and trying on different social environments and modes of living.
I lead product at Rallyware, the enterprise performance enablement platform that reinvents employee engagement by connecting learning activities with operational and performance data.
I am also a partner at Agile Fuel, a boutique outstaffing agency that recruits and supports world-class dedicated engineering teams.
Until recently, I played guitar and keys as a founding member of the Boston- and Nashville-based rock band Blackout Balter.
I am passionate about cultivating experiences and genuine human connections.
In no particular order, I have negotiated with Ivorian checkpoint guards, got into a spaghetti fight with Japanese punks, chugged Laotian tiger dick moonshine, got stuck in a Nebraskan tornado, and thrived on a bourbon-and-taco diet while recording at The Killers’ studio.
Before co-founding Rallyware and Agile Fuel, I worked on through-wall imaging and nonlethal directed energy weapons, simulated interactive football fan crowds, designed web gadget UI frameworks, visualized 3D fluid flows, built motion capture models of bat flight, constructed augmented and virtual reality environments, tinkered with distributed robot gaming, wrote comedy, and consumed appalling quantities of caffeine.
I like to design, build, and blow things up.
I am detoxing from social media. You can connect with me the old-fashioned way via direct message.
